Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White Review

There are a lot of restaurants to choose from at the Walt Disney World Resort, from character dining to fine dining and everything in between. Recently, I got the chance to try out Story Book Dining at Artist Point at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, and here are my thoughts on it.

What is it?

Story Book Dining at Artist Point is a signature character dining at Wilderness Lodge featuring Snow White, the Evil Queen, Dopey, and Grumpy from Disney’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarves.

What is the price?

$65 per adult and $39 per child, not including tax and tip

Annual Passholder and Disney Vacation Club discounts are accepted, and it will take 10% off of the price of food, not any alcohol that is ordered.

The Disney Dining Plan is accepted here, but since this is considered signature dining, it will be two table service dining credits.

What is included?

You get a three-course meal as a part of this experience, and soft drinks or juices are included in the price.

The shared appetizers are Wild Mushroom Bisque, Shrimp Cocktail, and Hunter’s Pie. If you or your family like any dish in particular, you can ask your server for more. We liked the Hunter’s Pie and got another plate of them.

You can choose one of the seven entrees offered. We tried the Cottager Beef Stroganoff, A Stroll through Nature (Gnocchi-based dish), and the Royal Prime Rib Roast.

The desserts are also shared, including Miner’s Treasures, “Poison” Apple, Fairy Tale Gooseberry Tart, and a surprise from the Queen. Like the appetizers, if you or your family likes one of the desserts, you can ask for more from your server.

My takeaways on Story Book Dining at Artist Point

  • The characters come to each table only one time, so make sure you are ready to interact and take photos of them when they come around because it will be your only chance to see them!
  • If you are looking for princess dining for your little one, I would look at Cinderella’s Royal Table at Magic Kingdom or Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in Norway at Epcot, as your little one will see more princesses than only Snow White.
  • Since this is signature dining, it requires two credits on the Disney Dining Plan, so keep that in mind when planning your dining during your stay.

Overall, it is a wonderful atmosphere with great food, and I would recommend it for those looking for signature dining with some Disney characters sprinkled in there!
